The Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Art (TMMA) has announced the opening of "Art 2024 - The Hwa of Life - A Group Exhibition of Taiwanese Artists" from February 20th to February 27th, a Taiwanese art event with the theme of "The Hwa of Life" will soon blossom in Tokyo.
This important art event brings together some of the most outstanding art creators from Taiwan to present the color and diversity of Taiwan's art scene in a richly illustrated exhibition titled "Born to be Huahua - A Group Exhibition of Taiwanese Artists". The exhibition not only covers a wide range of artistic disciplines, but also a variety of creative media, from traditional painting to modern digital art, demonstrating the innovative spirit and technical diversity of the artists.
Prof. Yuan Jinta, Professor Emeritus of National Taiwan Normal University and one of the participating artists, emphasized the core objective of the exhibition: to show the beauty of Taiwanese art to the world, including its broad diversity and profound cultural connotation. On behalf of all the exhibitors, Prof. Yuan expressed his deep gratitude to the Japan NPO Art Institute for its tireless efforts in promoting art and cultural exchanges between Taiwan and Japan over the long term. He also expressed his special thanks to the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Art in Japan and the Nagarenga Museum of Art in Taiwan, two organizations whose strong support in providing venue resources made it possible for such an exhibition to be held successfully, presenting a visual and spiritual feast to the visitors. This joint exhibition is not only a display of art, but also a platform for cultural exchange, bridging Taiwan and the world, especially Japan, to promote mutual understanding and appreciation.
There are 30 pieces of artworks in this exhibition, and the participating artists are Ding Ziwen, Wang Weiming, and Ishigaki Miyuki, Stillness of the RiverMr. NG Ah-lun, Mr. CHU Chun-nam, Mr. LEE Yan, Ms. LEE Yuen-wai, Mr. LAM Hon-wai, Mr. YUEN Kam-tat,CHEUNG SIU YINThere are 18 artists, including Zhang Yifeng, Peng Yuqin, You Shouzhong, Zhao Zongguan, Zhao Shunmiao, Peng Meixiang, and Chen Fuqi (in alphabetical order), among which Jiang Xinjing and Zhang Xiuyan are also ART365 participating artists.

Prof. Yu-Ching Chang, Director of NPO Japan, Director of Taiwan Changliu Museum of Contemporary Art, President of Jin Jiang Group (Thailand), and international curator, said that he is very much looking forward to this visual feast, which will promote exchanges and cooperation in art and culture between Taiwan and Japan, and bring a wonderful art event to art lovers. The exhibition will be held from February 20, 2012, and all visitors are welcome to come and witness the splendor of this art event.
