Ink PainterYuan Zhi JingGraduated from the Graduate School of Painting and Calligraphy of the National Taiwan University of Arts, Yuan Zhijing has served as a lecturer at Chung Hsing University, Chungtai and Chaoyang University of Science and Technology, as well as an instructor of ink painting at the Dadun Cultural Center of the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Taichung Municipal Government, and has devoted herself to the promotion of painting and calligraphy teaching. Due to his family's origins, Mr. Yuan has been immersed in poetry and calligraphy since he was a child, and his works show that "there is a painting in the poem, and a poem in the painting". She specializes in depicting the beauty of the earth and the sky, following the example of nature, expanding her creative vision from sketching, and creating vivid works that include the earth, mountains and rivers, the spirit of flowers and plants, and the creation of mental images, which are free and lively, making the viewers feel as if they were in the midst of thousands of mountains and rivers, and thus, "There is a great beauty in the earth and the sky" as the theme of the current exhibition.
Yuan Zhi Jing Ink Painting Exhibition "Heaven and Earth Have Great BeautyWorks on display
- Inscription: "The edge of the circle is rounded by the edge of the circle, the ink is dyed by the chaos, the good birds are together at this time, the clear plum reflects the heart of the sky, the bright moon sets off the mortal feelings, the colorful pen implies my God, the love thoughts are not yet finished, the circle is round and round and round again.
- Creation Concept: The motivation for the creation comes from a dream, between sleep and sleep, as if to the beginning of chaos, the purple air, a weak and gentle light penetrates the ancient sky, the water and the moon, the flowers and shadows, the Qiankun and the world are reflected in it, leisurely and virtual, abyssal and quiet, suddenly feel the heart of tranquility and shape release, all of the meditations, the things and I have forgotten!
In the midst of this spiritual realization, I tried to interpret the natural state of "the water and the moon shine together and chaos opens up, and all the images of the Universe wander together" by using "the moon and the plums reflecting each other"; and I wanted to realize the "truth" of the universe, to transform the form into a god, and to express the "beauty" of all the images in the mind, and then to make this painting.
- Inscription: I have picked up a piece of moon in the cold mountains, and this place where my heart is at peace is my home.
- The two masters, Hanshan and Shide, are famous poets, Zen masters and good friends in the history of Buddhism. In our country, they are known as the "Two Immortals of Harmony", which is a symbol of mutual love and deep affection. They often appear as children, signifying peace and fulfillment.
In a poem by Dong Po, "Where do I return to with a rowboat? My home is in the village of yellow leaves in the south of the Yangtze River. In the same poem, Dong Po wrote, "Wherever my heart is at peace is my hometown." This is a metaphor for a relaxed, optimistic and open-minded state of mind in times of adversity. Since ancient times, there have been many bright moons in the rivers and mountains, but the place where my heart is at peace is my hometown!
The painting shows that on a cold winter's night, with the moonlight shining over the land, the village appears quiet and peaceful, and the creator inadvertently picks up a piece of moonlight from a cold mountain, and feels that the place where his body and mind reside is my home, and that there is a home to go home to, which is not a bad thing!
- Appreciation of works:
"A boat that is not tied to a rope" is from "Zhuangzi": "To swim with a full stomach is like a boat that is not tied to a rope." It means that the boat is not bound by ropes. The poet aspires to be as free as a boat traveling on the river, expressing his inner desire and pursuit. The "untethered boat" symbolizes the poet's romantic impudence and transcendence; it also symbolizes the poet's singularity of will and his yearning for an ideal state.
Song Su Shi's poem "Self-Intitled Portrait of Jinshan": "The heart is like the wood that has been grayed, the body is like the boat that is not tied. I ask you about your life's achievements, Huangzhou, Huizhou, Danzhou. Describes the state of life in which the mind is already silent and free of desire, and will not be moved by external objects.
