Co-organized by the Chi Mei Museum and the National Gallery of the United Kingdom, theFrom Raphael to Van Gogh: An Exhibition from the Collection of the National Gallery of the United Kingdom<\/a>The exhibition will be held at Chi Mei Museum in Taichung on May 2, 2012, which is the first time since its establishment in 1824 that the British National Gallery has loaned paintings to Taiwan. This is the first time that the British National Gallery has lent paintings to Taiwan since its establishment in 1824, and it is a rare exhibition.
The National Gallery of the United Kingdom is recognized as one of the world's greatest art museums, with a collection of more than 2,300 paintings from the 13th to the 20th centuries. The Chi Mei Museum hopes that the public can enjoy the world-class art exhibition in Taiwan, so it contacted the National Gallery of the United Kingdom for many times to discuss the exhibition, and after overcoming many difficulties together, the cooperation was finally successful, and Chi Mei has become the only cooperative museum in Taiwan designated by the National Gallery of the United Kingdom.
